What is a Small Business Tree Planting Partnership?
Our Small Business (SB) partnership program is for companies that want to solidify their environmental commitment but have a limited budget or are not interested in a more formal agreement. Many of our SB partners are startup companies or small-scale local or regional businesses. If you are interested in a larger Corporate partnership, which begins at the $5,000 level, you will find contact information at the end of this document.
Is there a minimum donation?
Because the NFF manages many different SB partners which require our time and attention, the NFF requires a one-time minimum partnership donation of $100 to become an SB tree planting partner. Once you are enrolled, all of your future donations will support our tree planting program, where every dollar donated will plant a tree. For your convenience, you may set your tree-planting donations up on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly or annually) and your gift will process automatically. This option is available when you visit the online page to make your gift.
As a Small Business partner, can I mention our partnership with the NFF?
Yes. Once the minimum partnership donation of $100 is made and you begin making your tree planting donations, SB partners can then mention that they are donating to the National Forest Foundation and are welcome to list a link to our website. We ask that partners submit any text stating a partnership along with their contact information to Deborah Snyder at email@example.com for review prior to posting to help ensure it aligns with NFF messaging. Please note that use of the Trees for US or official NFF logo is not permitted for Small Business partners.
Where will my company’s trees be planted?
As an SB partner, we direct your donation to the areas of greatest need on our National Forest System. Many of our reforestation projects occur in the western U.S. where there is an outstanding reforestation need. Your donations will be pooled with others’ support to fund these projects.
What does my money actually support?
The costs for tree planting can include the procurement of seedlings, planting expense, maintenance and seedling protection costs.
What if I am interested in a larger Corporate partnership where use of the NFF logo and other benefits are available?
