TRASH TREASURE HUNT!
We will be giving prizes to the finders of the most unique pieces of trash!
The base area of the resort is located south of US-2 approximately 2 hours from Seattle and 40 minutes from Leavenworth. From Seattle, take I-405 North to exit 23 (Highway 522) for Wenatchee/Monroe, then travel east on US-2 for 50 miles to the resort. From Leavenworth, travel west on US-2 for 36 miles. Park at the south entrance near the base of the resort.
what to bring
Volunteers should bring a water bottle, rain gear, bug repellent, any medications (including epi-pens) and, in order to work on the steep slopes, wear ankle supporting boots with good traction (i.e. hiking or work boots). Volunteers wearing open-toed shoes will not be allowed on the chair lifts
