Requests for Proposals

The NFF and the American River Ranger District (ARRD) of the Tahoe National Forest are collaborating on the 725-acre Nyack Fuels Reduction and Infrastructure Protection Project. The Project is located south of Interstate 80 between Blue Canyon and Emigrant Gap. It is designed to reduce wildfire risk through roadside fuel breaks and mechanical thinning. The implementation contractor will collaborate with the NFF, Oversight Forester, and ARRD staff to implement forest health treatments specified in the Project.
