The National Forest Foundation (NFF), in partnership with the US Forest Service WRNF, is seeking a contractor to complete trail reconstruction as well as demolition and reconstruction of the North picnic area into an overlook. The trail reconstruction includes widening the trail and installing retaining timbers as well as constructing new rest areas along the trail to meet accessibility guidelines. The demolition of the current picnic area and reconstruction of a new overlook will include masonry rock retaining walls. Hazard tree removal will also be necessary.
