Trail Creek East Adaptive Silviculture Timber Sale, Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests, Colorado

The National Forest Foundation (NFF) and the USDA Forest Service (USFS) are working together to implement the Trail Creek East Adaptive Silviculture Timber Sale. This is a cooperative forest management project on National Forest System (NFS) lands in Gunnison County, Colorado. The project consists of 420 acres. Units are primarily vegetated in mature lodgepole, live and dead. Stands of Engleman Spruce and subalpine fir are present as well. Slope varies from 0 to 35%.
