Working closely with community partners and the Forest Service, the NFF restored many areas in the Methow Valley on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest to improve wildlife habitat and recreation experiences.
As part of the Treasured Landscapes, Unforgettable Experiences conservation campaign, the NFF is working with North Idaho communities to support the health of Lightning Creek.
Following the destruction of the Station Fire of 2009, the National Forest Foundation partnered with the Forest Service and engaged the local community to restore the Angeles National Forest.
