Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico | Glorieta Camps - Park in RV Campground
Details: Join the NFF and Santa Fe Fat Tire Society (SFFTS) as we celebrate National Forest Week™ with Kids and Family club ride Glorieta Camps!
We will split into skill levels as needed, and all rides are no drop rides. Atalaya Flyers Rides are geared to youth 13 years old and under, and their families. The Kids’ Rides focus on fun, trail etiquette, skills and safety! New, non-members and future members welcome.
Meet at 5:45 pm to ride by 6:00 pm. We will have special permission to park at the RV Campground within the gates of Glorieta. As an added bonus, the NFF will be on-site with swag for all riders!

Details: Join the NFF and Santa Fe Fat Tire Society (SFFTS) as we celebrate National Forest Week™ with a special women’s club ride on the Santa Fe National Forest! Get ready to hit the trails with us on a thrilling intermediate route from Borrego Trailhead to Bear Wallow, with an optional extra loop on Winsor for those seeking an added challenge.
As an added bonus, the NFF will be on-site with swag for all riders! Expect a heart-pumping adventure along this scenic blue route, featuring approximately 1000 ft of elevation gain over ~4.25 miles. This is a no-drop ride, ensuring everyone stays together along the way. Whether you're a new member, non-member, or prospective member, all are welcome to join the fun!

Details: Join the NFF and Santa Fe Fat Tire Society (SFFTS) as we celebrate National Forest Week™ with a special co-ed club ride on the Santa Fe National Forest!
The weekly coed club will start at Sierra del Norte Trailhead, Dale Ball Trails, with an option to stay within Dale Ball for a shorter/intermediate route and a second option to head out towards La Piedra/Carols for our longer/advanced group. Meet at 5:30 pm and roll out by 5:45 pm- don’t miss it!
This is a no drop ride so that nobody gets lost or left behind at any of the major intersections. New, non-members and future members welcome.

Location: Durango, Colorado | Ice Lake Trailhead, San Juan National Forest
Details: Celebrate National Forest Week™ by giving back to the lands we love! Join the National Forest Foundation and the San Juan Mountains Association to protect the Animas watershed by naturalizing campfire rings placed too close to waterways. Lunch is provided. If you have gloves, please bring them. We'll have limited PPE on site. Meet us at the Ice Lake Trailhead at 9:00AM sharp. Registration is capped at 50 participants.
Did you know that the Hardrock 100 is held the same week as National Forest Week™!? Combine your love for the outdoors with your love for our National Forests and join us! This activity qualifies for required service credits for the Hardrock 100.

Details: Celebrate National Forest Week™ with us and dive into a volunteer event with G5 Trail Collective on July 12!
The Meadows trail is quickly becoming many people's favorite trail in the town of Old Fort. It's an awesome and accessible experience to visit the meadow, the creek and the woods. The trail needs brushing of non-native and invasive plant species. Join the crew to make your mark on this awesome new trail, and help open the view for ALL.

Details: Celebrate National Forest Week™ and join us for a cleanup day at Tonto Creek! Co-hosted by the National Forest Foundation and U.S. Forest Service, with special thanks to Arizona Lottery, learn about the Rim Country Trails and Campgrounds project that is fixing an outdated water system and protecting the Tonto Creek watershed. There will be free swag, educational content, and photos with Woodsy Owl! Please bring water, sun protection, snacks/food, and wear closed-toed shoes. Meet us at the Lower Tonto Creek Campground at 10:30 AM.

Details: Join the NFF and the Santa Fe Watershed Alliance on an exclusive guided hike into the Upper Santa Fe Watershed in honor of National Forest Week™! Closed to the public since 1932, the Upper Santa Fe Watershed has undergone a dramatic transformation during the past two decades to protect the area watershed and water supply. Using management tools such as mechanical thinning and prescribed burning, the City of Santa Fe and U.S. Forest Service along with the Santa Fe Watershed Association have been working over the last 20+ years to restore the forest.
This FREE, 5-mile roundtrip hike is an incredible opportunity to learn about the restoration efforts and catch a glimpse of this nearly pristine forest that supplies about 30% of the city’s drinking water supply. During a 5 mile round trip hike through the Santa Fe Canyon Preserve and the Upper Municipal Santa Fe Watershed, experts from the experts from the Santa Fe Watershed Association, the NFF, the City of Santa Fe, and U.S. Forest Service will lead you through Agua Sarca, visiting Nichols Reservoir and covering topics such as the history of Santa Fe’s drinking water supply, how the reservoir systems work, forest thinning and healthy forest ecology, the role of beavers in our watershed, and other topics about the ecology of the Santa Fe Watershed.

This is an awesome opportunity for families and for the community to learn more about local wildlife, fire ecology, water management, and native plants.

Details: Join us for an epic day of trail work with the NFF and Truckee Trails! Get out and get dirty on a section of new machine cut trail needing some fine grooming love. Trail tools provided. Registration is capped at 20 participants so be sure to sign up!

Details: Join us for an unprecedented triple collaboration between the NFF, the Santa Fe Watershed Association, and the Santa Fe Fat Tire Society for an exhilarating day of volunteering in Santa Fe! With National Forest mountain bike rides and group hikes scheduled for earlier in the week, we're excited to give back and steward our remarkable public lands.
We will meet at the St. John's Atalaya Trailhead lower parking lot at 8:00 am on July 14th and then carpool to the work site near the upper lot. We will be working on Atalaya Trail near the upper Wilderness Gate parking area.
