Mary Ann Deming

Mary Ann Deming joined the NFF team in May of 2022. Prior to joining the NFF, she was the Controller for a professional membership association. Mary Ann has gained a comprehensive knowledge of nonprofit accounting with her experience of working for a national laboratory and a Community Foundation. As the Controller, Mary Ann works with the CFO, Accounting and Finance team to ensure that systems, procedures, and controls are in place to support accurate and timely financial reporting. Mary Ann grew up in the Philippines where her love of the ocean, outdoors and nature was cultivated and nurtured. She moved to Kansas City when she was a teenager with her parents and sisters. When not working Mary Ann can be found walking her dogs, playing pickleball and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
