Rebecca Davidson

Rebecca Davidson is the Associate Vice President of Mountain West Field Programs for the National Forest Foundation (NFF), where she provides leadership and strategic direction for conservation and community-based initiatives across the Mountain West, including Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. Rebecca supports NFF field teams working on forest restoration, watershed health, wildfire resilience, recreation, and community stewardship efforts that improve the health and resilience of National Forest System lands and the communities that depend on them.

In her role, Rebecca works closely with the U.S. Forest Service, state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, industry partners, and community leaders to advance collaborative, landscape-scale solutions to some of the region’s most pressing natural resource challenges. She helps guide strategy, partnership development, and implementation of conservation investments that create lasting ecological, economic, and community benefits throughout the Mountain West.

Before joining the National Forest Foundation in 2016, Rebecca worked in water rights and policy at Salt River Project and in wildlife and habitat management with the Arizona Game and Fish Department, building a career focused on the connection between healthy natural systems and thriving communities.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys exploring desert streams, turning over rocks, hiking with friends, reading mysteries and science fiction, and making cool things with her hot glue gun.
