Scott Segerstrom
Southern Region DirectorScott Segerstrom has spent more than 20 years working on public lands, starting with his first job out of Roanoke College: leading conservation service corps trail crews throughout the Colorado Rockies. His early career included building the Continental Divide Trail in Wyoming and leading a Navajo fuels reduction crew in southern Utah before spending two seasons as a wilderness ranger and wildland firefighter in Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Scott spent 11 years leading the Colorado Youth Corps Association, advocating on behalf of the eight accredited conservation service corps and 2,000 corps members serving across Colorado’s public lands.
As Southern Region Director at the National Forest Foundation, Scott oversees operations across 14 states. In his free time, he goes birding and hikes sections of the Appalachian Trail.
