Forestry, Veg. Mgmt, & Restoration | Due October 9, 2026
Base of Princeton Forest Restoration Project, Phase II Private Lands adjacent to San Isabel National Forest, Colorado

In collaboration with the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS), the National Forest Foundation (NFF) is seeking a contractor to conduct service work, including forest thinning and mastication operations, across 186 acres of private land in Chaffee County, Colorado. Work includes forest treatments in ponderosa pine stands (interspersed with Douglas fir and Rocky Mountain juniper). All work is to be completed with a (minimum) large wheeled or tracked masticator with either a vertical or horizontal mulching head.

A mandatory pre-bid tour will be hosted by NFF and CSFS on Friday, October 2, 2026. Interested parties must RSVP to the pre-bid tour by contacting Shannon Smith (928.951.1167, [email protected]) by September 30 to receive logistical details.
