South Fork Fire Fuels Reduction Project, Phase 1 Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico
This RFP lists multiple vegetation management treatments as available bid items. Bidders should provide proposals for whichever items they are interested in and capable of performing but are not required to submit bids for all of the listed items. Multiple contracts will be awarded depending on price, budget, and workload.
The work is comprised of vegetation management in mixed complexity stands via mechanical equipment and/or hand crews. The primary focus will be thinning and falling trees of various heights and diameter at breast height (DBH) along with thinning various species between 1-to-8-inch DBH.
Pre-Bid Site Tours:
There is an optional pre-bid tour scheduled for September 10, 2026. Please RSVP to the tour by emailing [email protected] on or before September 8, 2026. Location and time details will be shared on September 9 to those who have RSVP’d. Given the size of the project, it is recommended that those unable to attend the bid tour still make an effort to spend time on site outside of the pre-bid tour.
