Stringtown Connell Gulch Phase 2 Mastication and Hand Thinning Prescott National Forest, Arizona
The NFF, in partnership with the US Forest Service (USFS), is seeking qualified contractors for mastication and hand thinning/lop & scatter on the Prescott National Forest. These treatments have proven to be an effective hazardous fuels management tool by rearranging/reducing ladder and canopy fuels to the surface to reduce the risk of crown fire, and to increase defensible space for fireline control operations. The total project area is 1,738.4 acres across both flat and rocky, steep terrain.
Pre-Bid Tour: A Pre-bid tour is scheduled for August 10, 2026 at 10am AZ Time. Contractors are encouraged to attend the pre-bid tour to better understand the scope of work and expectations. To attend the Pre-Bid Tour, Contractors must contact Chad Kim ([email protected]) no later than August 7, 2026 to be placed on the RSVP list.
