Sunland Fuels Reduction Angeles National Forest, California

This project will reduce the buildup of hazardous fuels adjacent to the foothill communities of Sunland and Tujunga.

The project is approximately 146 acres and entails performing 300 feet of hazardous fuel reduction adjacent to the 2N86 Rd beginning at the forest boundary east of Camp Louis Roth and continuing east approximately three miles to the forest boundary at 2N76 Rd/Haines Debris Basin. There are two areas that will exceed 300 feet in order to meet the forest boundary to the south/southeast of the 2N86 road (Graveyard Trucktrail).
