Robin Skale

Robin Skale serves as the Director of Annual and Mid‑Level Giving at the National Forest Foundation, where she leads comprehensive strategies that deepen donor engagement, expand philanthropic participation, and drive sustainable revenue growth. Combining her love of nature with nearly two decades of fundraising expertise, Robin oversees programs that inspire generosity among a broad community of supporters committed to protecting and stewarding America’s National Forests and Grasslands.

Throughout her career in the nonprofit sector, Robin has championed the power of storytelling, data‑informed strategy, and relationship‑centered philanthropy to create positive and lasting impact. Prior to joining the National Forest Foundation, she held fundraising and donor engagement roles at San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, Natural Resources Defense Council, Orangutan Foundation International, and the San Diego Food Bank. Across these organizations, she led initiatives to foster long-term supporter loyalty and ensure donors have meaningful pathways to deepen their connection with the mission.

Robin holds a B.A. in Psychology from California State University San Marcos and an M.P.A. with an emphasis in nonprofit management from California State University Northridge. She is passionate about wildlife conservation, outdoor recreation, and preserving natural spaces for future generations.

Based in San Diego, California, Robin enjoys spending time at the beach, paddleboarding in Mission Bay, and exploring the trails of Cleveland National Forest with her dog, Chili Beans.
