Cindy Villegas

Cindy Villegas joined NFF in March 2023, supporting fundraising efforts across California before stepping into her current role as Showcase Campaign Manager in 2026. In this role, she leads a dynamic initiative that spotlights transformative projects aligned with NFF’s pillars of impact, integrating fundraising, marketing, and conservation efforts.

Prior to NFF, Cindy worked with the California State Assembly, Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign, and Florida State House races, as well as with nonprofit organizations including TreePeople and Swing Left.

Cindy brings a strong background in community organizing, fundraising, and government to her work at NFF. Her passion for the environment deepened while living among the redwoods while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she spends her free time teaching heated fitness classes and exploring new wellness trends.
