Contessa Kellogg-Winters is a trusted independent advisor and strategist to CEOs and executive boards, helping leaders navigate complexity, manage risk, and lead with clarity in high-stakes environments.

With more than 20 years of experience across corporate communications, government affairs, and public policy, she operates at the intersection of reputation and policy—aligning communications with risk, finance, and stakeholder strategy to drive business outcomes. She helps leadership teams interpret the external environment, connect it to enterprise priorities, and respond with confidence amid economic, technological, and geopolitical change.

Contessa has advised senior leaders at global organizations including Nespresso, Novartis, Mars, Early Warning Systems, and BSG Capital Markets, supporting CEO transitions, major transactions, and the development of core messaging—particularly in sustainability, stakeholder outreach and ESG—to build trust with investors, policymakers, employees, and the public.

Previously, she led C-suite advisory work as Executive Vice President and Head of Executive Visibility at Weber Shandwick and served as Communications Director for the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, advising the CEO and supervisory board while advancing global sustainability standards.

She began her career in the United States Senate rising to become a Floor Assistant and Communications Director in the House of Representatives, and later serving as Press Secretary and Speechwriter for the Los Angeles City Attorney—experience that underpins her deep expertise in political strategy and stakeholder engagement. Contessa combines strategic judgment, political acuity, and AI-enabled insight to help leaders anticipate challenges, shape narratives, and act decisively in a rapidly evolving world.
