DEADLINE
This project will reduce hazardous fuels and improve forest stand conditions related to species composition and vegetative structure on 329 acres within the wildland urban interface. Most of the work (284 acres Jackknife) is excavator-based mastication thinning. The remaining work (45 acres Lost Beetle) is machine or hand slashing and excavator piling.
