Planting Trees with the National Forest Foundation
America is blessed with a stunning diversity of public National Forests. From urbanites in big cities to families in rural towns, we are all connected to these forests.
Natural disturbances, such as wildfire, insects and disease outbreaks, are jeopardizing the very things that make forests so wonderful.
That’s why we're planting millions of trees and reforesting thousands of acres of National Forests.
On Earth Day 2023, we reached our fundraising goal for the 50 Million For Our Forests campaign, planting 50 million trees by the end of 2025. See our progress toward planting those 50 million trees here. That’s just the beginning. We are scaling up our efforts to meet the growing reforestation need on National Forests.
We invite everyone - individuals and businesses alike - to join us as we replant National Forests. We make it easy – $1 plants one tree on a National Forest in need of tree planting.
By planting trees on National Forests, we are investing in healthy forests for today and for future generations. Together, we’ll reforest tens of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat, from the longleaf pine forests of Florida to the cedar groves of Alaska.
With your help, we’ll protect the watersheds that provide life’s most sustaining resource for cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle and thousands of other communities. And as these trees grow, trees you helped to plant, they’ll help fight global climate change and ensure wildlife have healthy places to live.

The NFF is proud to participate in the World Economic Forum’s 1t.org U.S. Chapter. 1t.org is a 10-year effort to connect, empower, and serve a global movement to conserve, restore, and grow one trillion trees by 2030. Through 50 Million For Our Forests, the trees we plant on U.S. National Forests support this global movement. Learn more about 1t.org and view our pledge here.
The automaker’s Bronco Wild Fund, created to provide access to, and encourage preservation of the great outdoors, is a mission we wholeheartedly support. And Ford is making that mission a reality with its support to plant more than a million trees on National Forests.
