The NFF is working to restore forest health and aquatic habitat, improve recreation experiences and support robust community involvement on Idaho’s Sawtooth National Forest.
Working with local Native American Tribes, communities, and organizations, we are improving the recreation areas and wildlife habitat along the Mountain Loop Highway on the beautiful Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
Through the Investing in the Great Outdoors campaign, the NFF, the U.S. Forest Service and community partners are working together to expand restoration efforts while increasing the collective capacity of local groups to engage in hands-on stewardship and recreational infrastructure improvements.
Working with local partners, we are creating better fish and wildlife habitat, enhancing recreational experiences and increasing the number and diversity of the stewards of the Forest into the future.
Working closely with the Forest Service, Colorado's premier nonprofit stewardship organizations, youth corps and community organizations, we are increasing the pace and scale of improvements to sustainable recreation opportunities on Colorado’s Fourteeners.
Focusing on wildlife habitat and recreation resources, our work improved critical places on Arkansas’ Ozark National Forest.
Working together with a wide range of partners, the NFF is bringing back native tallgrass prairie to Illinois.
On the Wasatch Front, the NFF is working with communities to support clean water and recreation opportunities for the Salt Lake City region.
